Id need to send some files to students and they dont have tuxguitar (for whatever reason, not my business) so is there any way of opening tg files in gp? at least my students say that their gp wont open the files i send.

I don't know if Gp should or not open Tg files, anyway, you could convert your files into WAVE files so that GP recognizes them.

Sorry I meant Midi files no Wave file. Top left, File-> Export-> Export Midi.
