I was wondering if it were possible to change the number of guitar strings down to 3. There are a lot of 3 string cigar box guitar players out there that would love to build tabs using tux guitar but we can't figure out how to make this change.

No, it's currently not possible to select less than 4 strings. it's something to do for next releases.

Is there a way to alter that in the Java code?
