hello, I downloaded a violin song power tab file in guitar standard tuning.now I tried to change it to 4 string violin tuning.
guitars high e is E5 , I chose E5 for violins highest string too.
it stays the same pitch, but some (many) notes just disappeared for no logical reason.
the most of the lost notes seem to be on the lowest string.

note : this IS NOT a matter of non-sufficient tonal range!!
all notes can be played correctly in reality.

help me please

you can easily try this by yourself , just download a paganini caprice tab , and transpose it to the following tuning: G3 , D4 , A4 , E5

if you got succes let me know what youve done , thank you guys.

The reason could be notes lower than D4 ..
so if you had one note at string 5 ( A3 ) and other at string 6 ( E3 ) one of them will be removed, since the application can't place both notes at the G3 string. and ofcourse E3, F3 and F#3 notes are lower than G3, so also can't be there.
