is it possible to allow a note to 'let ring' over the top of later notes played? similar to the 'let ring' in g.pro?

I'm interested in this too. However, I have a large-ish collection of GP files, and while I don't have GP anymore, from what I recall, some of them I'd used let ring in, and that isn't represented by TuxGuitar, so I assume it's a missing feature.

Make a note and then go along to the next space and hit "L". Do this as many times as you want depending on how long you want it for. So for example:

-----------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------
-7-o-o-----------------------------------

The o's are where you should press L, then above the tab you'll see the things changing...it's hard to explain but I hope this helped ^^

That's a tie; that's different. Say you want to play an arpeggio but letting each note ring while you play the next, etc. Seems like it's just a missing feature.

Thanx a lot, that's great, but sometimes you got to press "L" so many times... i hope there will be soon an update in which the "Let ring" function is included!

but for that what already exists: thanx everyone who helped to produce tux guitar! you're the best!
