MIDI Importer needs a lot of work todo.
there are a lot of midi files, what was "recorded" from a keyboard.
that files never have good tick positions, because an human isn't a machine, and his metronome isn't perfect.
It's very hard to determine some note positions of some midi files. that cause you see a very bad tablature sometimes.
another thing, is that tuxguitar isn't adding "tied" notes automatically.
some times when a measure finished, but the note keep playing, a tied note on the next measure is needed. ( that is planned todo )
and at last, some effects (or not effects) make impossible the job.
MIDI Files save note_on, note_off, etc message events.
but it don't say you "dead" note. you just see a very small note.
it don't say "vibrato", you just see a lot of "pitch_bend" messages.
this things make very hard to determine how the song should be maked on the application.
> you guys use the GM standard
yes, but ofcourse we can did any mistake.
