I am now using Gentoo X64, and I am attempting to build Tuxguitar from source. The dependencies have been fulfilled prior to the ant command. The output can be seen here:

http://pastebin.com/m1777f965

I see that there is a lot of errors related to swt.. But swt is already installed

* dev-java/swt
Latest version available: 3.4-r2
Latest version installed: 3.4-r2
Size of files: 13,569 kB
Homepage: http://www.eclipse.org/
Description: GTK based SWT Library
License: CPL-1.0 LGPL-2.1 MPL-1.1

Do you have any recommendations in order to fix this?

Thanks

Open "build.properties" file and make sure that "lib.swt.jar" is pointing to your swt.jar file.

I'm not really sure about gentoo..
but allmost distributions split *.so files from swt.jar
so if gentoo do the same, make sure also to complete "lib.swt.jni" property.

See this example:
# if swt.jar is at /usr/share/java
lib.swt.jar=/usr/share/java/swt.jar

# if *.so files are at /usr/lib/jni
lib.swt.jni=/usr/lib/jni

As you see, for the .jar file, you need to specify the full path to the file.
but for the .so files, you should specify the "folder" instead of files.

One thing that you need know,
is that you are building "tuxguitar" project only.
if you want plugins, you need to build them too.

See here:
