tuxguitar scrolling is slow in kubuntu hardy

hi, i use kubuntu hardy with kde3(64bit) and scrolling in tuxguitar is much slower than on windows xp, espacially when there are a lot of instruments. on both systems i use tuxguitar 1.0(on kubuntu from backports) on windows also sound semms to be much smotther synced with the played notes. Any idea how to "tune" tuxguitar in kubuntu?

solved! your ubuntu package works alot better, it works perctly on hardy! thank you
