Hey all,
I'm running Tux guitar 1.1 on a Macbook (intel) 2.2 GHs and OS X 10.5.7

When I try to either export to, or print to a pdf, I get an error message "bad version number in .class file"

I was wondering if anyone out there had any ideas on how to address this.
Thanks
Inky

Under Java Preferences
Java Applications
J2SE 5.0 32-bit
Java SE 6 64-bit
J2SE 5.0 64-bit
J2SE 1.4.2 32-bit

That's what I could find for my version.

I'm experiencing the same problem. I also run TuxGuitar 1.1 under OS X (10.5.7), having Java SE build 1.5.0_19-b02-304.

I loaded a ptb file and while trying to export to PDF it gives "Bad version number in .class file". If I go File->Print->OK->PDF->Save as PDF->Save, it gives "No more handles".

Any ideas?

Probably the libitext binary included is wrong; but OS X has PDF exporting built-in, so just use Print then Export to PDF. Unfortunately, printing on OS X is absymal, lines are too thick and fonts too small. I generally use Lillypond instead

Same problem and still no idea! Lilypond? Good idea! Meaning TuxGuitar for editing and feedback by playing back feature and printout with Lilypond via Export-Format. I will try it.

By the way: I have the same problem with Java 1.6 or 1.5 on 10.4.11.

... but the problem vanishes, if I configured a printer on my IBook.
