If I have this measure:
4/4 (dot quarter rest) (eight note) (half rest)
Then the eight note will not high-lighted when playback.

I can't reproduce the problem..
what OS and tuxguitar version are you using ??

Now I know why.
It's because of my data import plugin, it's manually added rest, need to do TGVoice.setEmpty(false).
