Subject Guitar pro files not opening   Post Reply Post New Topic

I just swtiched to ubuntu and found tuxguitar but i cant open any gp.files i download from ultimate-guitar.com for example. i have one own song on my USB and it opens perfectly and is saved at gp5.
it says something about going to preferences but i cant find preferences anywhere.
I checked all the options and the settings. but didn't find anything even hinting to different file extensions or supported files.

i am using 1.1 version of tuxguitar. did i just simply miss something? :D

Who says this ??

To open the files, you have to go to menu "File -> Open"
if it throws an error, please open tuxguitar under a terminal, try open the file, and copy here the error log you see on the terminal.
