Using Arch linux, Sun/Oracle JRE v6u26 and Tuxguitar v1.2 stable. (No java issues on system, all other java apps work too.)

Tuxguitar does not start when opening associated files. Example: I use Thunar, and if I double-click .gp5 file that I've already associated with tuxguitar and used to run fine, nothing happens. Tuxguitar *only* starts when I run tuxguitar from a shell (and shows no errors and runs as normal from thereon).

Only way I can open any tab file is to start Tuxguitar in shell, then File > Open and find file. This is cumbersome and I'd love to fix it as I've already got a huge fluxbox menu with linked tab files.

right click file, open with, then choose tux guitar 1.2.

I don't have any tux guitar 1.2, only /usr/bin/tuxguitar :(
