Is it possible to open tuxguitar files with Guitar Pro 6?

I made some stuff on tuxguitar before I got guitar pro, and I wanted to know if there was a way to transpose the file so that it can be played in guitar pro. Or do I have to just remake the songs?

It doesn't recognize the tux guitar file format, at least not for files I created anyway.
