the download link for the windows version is wrong it links to the update ... that seems to make problems ;)

Hi,
The file:
tuxguitar-0.9.1-update1-windows-installer.exe
is the latest tuxguitar release for windows, so there is nothing to fix.
However, there is a also a link pointing to older versions in the download section.

No, why do you say that ?
tuxguitar-0.9.1-update1-windows-installer is "newer" than tuxguitar-0.9.1-windows-installer.
it fix a bug on the bitrock installer scripts. ( same situation for linux installer release )
