Hello, I don't have many problems with tuxguitar but there's only one thing: program changes.
Sometimes in the same song the tempo move or the instrument on the track is changed by another one (that is called progrma change in midi language) and when this part is played with tuxguitar, the program change is not detected or has no effect.
Do you have an answer?

Hi,
that's because tuxguitar don't have support for more than one instruments peer track.

when you open a file.. it is readed and parsed to the application structure.. it don't mathers if the file is .mid, .gp* or other... the reader try only convert for one format to other..
but "not supported" operations can't be converted.
so that program changes doesn't exists when you play the tuxguitar song, because they were not included when the file was readed.

same status. multiple instruments by track is not supported.
