TuxGuitar installed: tuxguitar-0.9.1-update1-linux-installer.bin
Hardware: hda nvidia (ALSA + OSS)
other installed programs: Timidity
JAVA: installed

Hi, i need know more about the problem..
i assume the problem is you cannot listen anything...
so, please try run tuxguitar under a terminal.. and tell me if you see any error log when you try play the song ??

Hi Julian,
yes, I cannot listen anything. I run and played TuxGuitar in terminal mode but I got no errors.
[pdaniel@mandriva tuxguitar-0.9.1-update1]$ ./tuxguitar
[pdaniel@mandriva tuxguitar-0.9.1-update1]$ su
Senha:
[root@mandriva tuxguitar-0.9.1-update1]# ./tuxguitar
[root@mandriva tuxguitar-0.9.1-update1]#

mmm.. the 2 known problems with "tuxguitar + java sound api" throw exceptions on the terminal... so i'm not sure what can it be...
maybe.. you can try with the "tuxguitar-alsa" plugin and play sounds by timidity ports..
