Well i just downloaded Guitar tux and for some reason when i double click on the shortcut or try to open a file nothing happens at all. what is going on? do i need to install a extra program (i have java 6) plz help me.

What file release did you downloaded ?
what Operating System do you have ?

I was having the same problem on Ubuntu 8.04.
I un-installed Tuxguitar,downloaded a copy from this site and reinstalled using GDebi installer.
It was an ugly fix,but it worked.

Seemingly doing nothing
