Hello,

If I want to practice a part at 80% tempo, I'm screwed because the play mode offers 75 and 100, and the speed trainer will not allow a value of 0 for tempo increase. If Tuxguitar was in C I could easily change the text entry box for tempo increase to take a 0, but this Java stuff is much more complicated and I have no clue what to do. Can anyone give me a pointer in how to get at the source code and what I have to do to compile/interpret the code to make it run?

on "TuxGuitar/src/org/herac/tuxguitar/gui/actions/transport/TransportModeAction" there is the dialog source for trainer.

you can change the constant at line 43:
protected static final int[] DEFAULT_PERCENTS = new int[]{25,50,75,100,125,150,175,200};
To add another percent there..

Or you can change the combo to a text or spinner if you want to have custom percents allways.

Here you have howto build:
http://www.tuxguitar.com.ar/tgwiki/doku.php?id=doc:build

Note that for this change, you don't need rebuild all plugins.. just build it so fast as you can, and replace tuxguitar.jar on your tuxguitar installation folder.
