Percussion Notation

Anton Drummer	Post: Mar 17th 2009 at 11:14 AM   Nice project! I have a suggestion which I think, all drummers will appreciate. It would be sooo nice, if drums track appeared in traditional drumset notation, not just random notes. E.g. cymbals are usually noted as "x", not as a small black circle :) And certain instruments (snare, hi-hat etc.) are usually put on certain score lines. Hi-hat - on the "A" at the upper line, Ride - "B" above, Crash - "C" above. Snare is "E" and bass drum is lower "A" (all in bass clef). Just like it is in Guitar Pro. It's inconvenient for a drummer to "read" notation, when instruments are displayed not in traditional manner.

Raul V	Post: Apr 19th 2009 at 10:18 PM   I really agree,it is really hard to read the type of notation that the program uses (i personally can barely understand it with 1 1/2 yrs of music theory studies)
