Highlight current measure for easy reading

I loose my place a lot as I see about 3 lines of 8 measures(wide screen monitor). When the tune is being played by tuxguitar, it's fine as it highlights the note. When it is not playing, then I have a hard time finding my place. I think the current measure should only be highlighted if tuxguitar isn't playing the tune.

does no one else think this is a good idea? I keep losing my place when learning songs.
